Legacy Letter Challenge

Legacy Projects

The Legacy Letter Challenge helps dads and moms connect with their children on a deeper level by writing a letter from their heart.

Blake, Founder of the Legacy Letter Challenge,  is on a mission to help 1 million dads and moms write at least one well written, meaningful, lasting Legacy Letter to their children. Blake has a wonderful wife and loves being a father to his three children, all under 8. As he leads his family, he draws from many mentors, but none more important than his late father, Larry Brewer.

Legacy Letter Challenge – Write a Letter – Leave a Legacy

Legacy Letter Challenge website

As a parent, you want to do everything you can to leave a lasting legacy for your children. One of the most meaningful things you can do is to write them a letter. A letter is a way to share your love, wisdom, and experiences with them. It’s also a way to let them know how much you care about them.

The Legacy Letter Challenge is a program that can help you write a letter to your children. The program is led by Blake Boles, a grief counselor and author of the book “The Legacy Letter: A Father’s Guide to Writing a Letter to His Children.”

The Legacy Letter Challenge is a 4-week program that includes:

Weekly video lessons from Blake Boles
Worksheets and exercises to help you write your letter
A private Facebook group where you can connect with other dads who are participating in the challenge
At the end of the challenge, you will have a completed letter that you can share with your children.

Why Write a Letter to Your Children?

  • To share your love and wisdom. A letter is great for sharing your love, wisdom, and experiences with your children. You can tell them about your hopes and dreams for them, the lessons you’ve learned in life, and the things you’re most proud of about them.
  • To create a keepsake. Your letter will be a keepsake that your children can cherish for years to come. It will remind them of your love, your values, and your hopes for their future.
  • To cope with grief. If you have lost a child, writing a letter can be a way to heal your heart and find closure. It can also be a way to keep your child’s memory alive.
  • To connect with your children. Writing a letter to your children is a great way to connect with them and let them know how much you love them. It’s also a way to start a conversation about important topics, such as your values, hopes for their future, and dreams for them.
