At Till The Last, we think about how to live well to that very last moment, until death. We are here to support you and your family and loved ones to approach end of life in a positive, meaningful, and affirming way.
Dr. Virginia Chang is a Certified End-of-Life Doula serving those who want to prepare for death or are dying from a terminal illness. Currently, she accompanies those in need with a holistic and compassionate approach to death. She supports clients one-on-one and helps to advocate for and realize their needs and wishes. She will support you and your family and loved ones with professional and individualized emotional, spiritual, and physical care. This can range from practical advice on Advance Care Directives to coordination with the professional healthcare team on ongoing care to an exploration of what death means to you and how you want to be remembered. As a certified yoga teacher and life-long practitioner, she also incorporates meditation and breathwork into her approach that brings a mindfulness and peace to her work.
Virginia has been trained by the University of Vermont (UVM) Larner College of Medicine, the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA), and the Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY). She completed INELDA’s rigorous certification process in August of 2019. She is on the faculty of UVM’s End-of-Life Doula Professional Certificate Program as a Doula Facilitator since August of 2020. She also sits on VNSNY’s Ethics Committee and Review Board and the Self Care Subcommittee and advises on matters of ethical significance to its hospice and palliative care program.
